Tuberculosis Arthritis typically affects the joint areas of the body. Therefore, in order to detect the attack of this disease, one must look for the changes happening in the joints like knee, wrist, ankle, hand, hip, spine etc. Pain in the joints is the universal symptom of this disease. However, in most of the cases pain does not reach an unbearable level. The other symptom to look for is an unusual deformity in any one of the joints. This disease causes great levels of swelling in the joint tissues that make them look tender from outside. Further, there is a development of spasm in the joint muscles which drastically reduce their mobility. In an ideal case, the patient discovers stiffness in the infected joint area.
Other sure shot symptom of this condition is the relative rise in the body temperature. People also experience a considerable loss in the appetite and hemoglobin level in the blood. Such patients start losing weight at an accelerated speed even without subjecting themselves to strenuous exercise sessions. Sometimes, during the course of the progression of this disease, patients deal with the development of abscesses. As a result, the formation of pus takes place which spreads to the entire body through an opening on the skin.
