There are predominantly three different types of Seronegative Arthritis that affect humans. Each form has different symptoms because of which their analysis tests also vary. Psoriatic arthritis is one of the most common forms of Seronegative Arthritis. This form cause joint deformities and skin lesions throughout the body. This disease can be easily diagnosed via X-rays which clearly show the pencil-in-cup sort of deformity in the distal interphalangeal joints. Further, conducting a blood test for tracking this condition is a wise step as it indicates the risen level of erythrocyte sedimentation rate as well as uric acid in the body.
Septic arthritis can be easily detected by conducting a culture test of synovial fluid for detecting the RA factor. X-rays are other potent methods that can be used to learn about various changes happening in the bones within a span of one week. A positive x-ray report would strongly suggest distention of the joint capsules, narrowing of the space between the joints or erosions of the bone. Further, many doctors also suggest blood tests for the detecting the same. A positive test show elevated number of white blood cells along with the presence of polymorphonuclear cells. The third type, Psoriatic arthritis can be tested by undertaking an X-ray test. This test scans all the bone erosions inside the body.
